DESCRIPTION
Made with fruit picked from 80+ year old vines, this is a deeply-flavoured wine of terrific value. Fuller in body than some but with more elegance than one might expect for a wine of this controlled power. Spiced fruit – black cherry and dark plum – are obvious, as is the delicious ripple of herbs found at the wine’s core and the crunch of black pepper on the finish.
